frequently asked questions
Is this a non-denominational church?
No.
We are United Methodist by affiliation and by theology. Organizationally, that means that we are a part of the New Albany District and are supported by both the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church and The Orchard in Tupelo (our sister church - also United Methodist).

Is this church just for young people?
No. Our church is for everyone.
When I (Pat) was in college, I had the great opportunity to be a part of a local church in Starkville. Looking back, I think the best thing about it was that my involvement put me in touch with people from many different generations. Even though I was young and single, I knew people who were older, who were married, some who had kids and some who were even retired. My time there really helped me put my life into perspective because I was able to see such a broad spectrum of people at different stages.
We have so much to learn and gain from each other - that’s why the Bible describes the Church as a Body. We want everyone to know that there is a place for them at the Orchard, no matter what stage of life they are in.
Where is your church located? Where is your office?
We rent the PowerHouse Community Arts Council weekly on Sundays for our services. During the week, you can find us at our office, near the corner of Molly Barr Rd. (HWY 30) and North Lamar Blvd.

When are your worship services?
We meet every Sunday at 10:30 am and 6pm. These are two identical services. Same music, same message. Pick one and join us.
I have some questions about finances at the Orchard. Where can I find information about that?
