Read

Leviticus 23:22

22 “‘When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.’”

Reflect

We like to think of everything we work for as ours. But really, it all belongs to God. He has given us the most precious gift that we could never have earned - salvation. Likewise, we should not hoard what God has given us, but should freely share it with those in need. What has God given you that you could share for the advancement of His kingdom?

Pray

God, all we have is yours. Where you have given us abundance, let us share with those who are lacking.
